This Flag Day marks the 232nd birthday of our beloved American Flag. The Star-Spangled Banner was chosen as our flag by the Continental Congress on June 14, 1777.From our Founding Fathers on down, let us honor those who have pledged allegiance to our flag and have sacrificed to secure our freedom.“Old Glory” is a symbol of honor for us all. On Flag Day, June 14, fly it proudly in honor of our brave soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines and Guardsmen, who go into battle under it and sacrifice their lives to protect it.
As we speak of her,something most people are not familiar with is the proper way to retire "Old Glory".If you have a boy scout troop in your area then you have the proper means by which to retire her.....read>>
